Why intersect: Springtime is a peaceful journey with Chinese Zither; In a Word is a quiet, slow progression of piano and soft noise. Vocals occasionally haunt over the music.
Where intersect: Try Many Little Flowers and Joyce, respectively. Demon of Jealousy Appears In A Dream and Erebus play together in a fun way as well.
Recommend intersect: Sometimes. There are points where the music meshes together and feels like one performance; there are others where the introspective styles feel at odds, particularly when the vocals are up front. But the music changes rapidly, especially with In a Word, so there is always something exciting happening together.
