Baby Slug
It would seem that, when I collected soil for my terrarium, I must have captured some slug eggs.

I already posted a shot of one a few days ago that has grown quickly, but I've noticed at least two tiny guys. They look like little more than specs on the side of the tank's glass, but when observed closely, they are very distinctive slugs.

It would appear the terrarium is going to have a full population.

It appears to me that you have two baby Giant Leopard Slugs. I am a preschool teacher and found two adults last summer on our school sidewalk. I brought them into the classroom for the kids to observe and low and behold they went and laid eggs. They are quite voracious eaters so be careful what you keep in your terrarium. The are also carnivorous when it comes to worms and other slugs. I thought it was just slugs and put some worms in with them. The worms didn't surbive. Never the less they are quite cute and fascinating to watch when you can catch them. If you have any questions about keeping them please feel free to contact me.

Thanks for the kind words. Yes, they devour a remarkable amount of plant life, sometimes a few inches of plants a day. I've been filling the tank with numerous weeds and plants and gauging different consumption activity, although I've not found any particular consistent pattern yet. I was fortunate enough to watch one of the larger slugs eat an old leaf, and I'd say it was almost like watching a rabbit eat a flower. Very impressive.
I believe the millipedes have the mechanisms to defend themselves and I've not read anything about these slugs attacking them anyhow, so I'm hoping they are okay. There are earthworms in the tank; they hide underground at the slightest vibration but I have seen evidence that there could be a good number of worms within the confines. I'm not sure if this is yet a problem, but I'm keeping an eye on them just in case.
