The Ex - IP Man: Let us start the morning with mania and noise.
Jay Reatard - Oh It's Such a Shame: One of my favorites from his short catalog.
Deerhoof - Running Thoughts: A bit more manic from Deerhoof than normal, but still true to their typical offbeat, compelling presentation.
The Paper Chase - My Death: Two weeks in a row from the creepy, dismal band that I enjoy immensely. Plus I never grow tired of minor-key piano riffs.
Genesis - Visions of Angels: Well, it was only a matter of time before the trend of hearing songs written and recorded this century ended.
Robyn Hitchcock - Freeze: I've probably stated before how I think the live Storefront Hitchcock captured Robyn at my favorite stage of his touring career; I saw him numerous times during this era and still remember the shows fondly.
Chainsaw Kittens - Bliss (We're Small): From the band's first album, Violent Religion, which I was extremely excited about years ago after playing to death a cassette of Tyson Meade's previous band, Defenestration. Since then, I've actually found another punkish band called Defenestration in a clearance CD bin; I guess it isn't a band name that lends itself well to extreme commercial success. Nevertheless, I've never been disappointed by the Kittens.
The Boomtown Rats - Blind Date: Not really the most memorable song from the Rats, but it doesn't stray from their bouncy sound.
